Salvete omnes! (Hello all!) This series is sort of a continuation of my summer camp from last couple summers but is welcome to all new learners. I'll spend some time reviewing what we've discussed in the summer camp, and then moving on to a bunch of new stuff! Every week, there will be two sessions. The session earlier in the week, typically Monday evenings, we will be learning some Latin grammar, doing some translation, and basically learning all about the language. In the second session which is later in the week, typically Saturday mornings, we will be reading some short stories in Latin, mostly about Roman and Greek mythology, and Roman history, and I'll walk you through how to get an understanding of the story even if you can't completely understand the Latin (I will also be providing the English translation). Some of these stories will be the same ones from last year, but I'll also be trying out some new ones!

This series will be geared toward those who have had at least some experience with Latin, whether having taken an introductory course or taking it in school. Depending on how many people register, this may also function as q&a/ask me anything series, if anyone has any homework or preparation for school questions. I plan to just keep adding sessions to this series for as long as you all are interested, so there isn't really a specific end date.

I'll be gearing this series toward what registered learners are interested in, but I plan to give a basic overview of Latin grammar, some translation, and Roman history and culture. Again, based on where interests lie, we can focus on any of these topics, or even branch out to others, like popular phrases and conversation. I look forward to seeing you there!
