Yeah. Other than the learner herself claiming at the end to feel "better" when facing such questions, she also understood after some time how to write the ratio of the length a and d, d being 4 four times a. That proved that she got the ratio thing and how to describe the relationship between corresponding geometric figures: Well done Jackie!!! That's impressive!

You showed great expertise with the topic at hand. The method you provided your learner with at the end was also very useful and practical. Ideal for the SAT! Furthermore, the fact that you had plenty of exercises prepared or even invented at the moment proved your professionalism and seriousness. I appreciated that! I also try to be as prepared as possible before any session. Well done! I also loved your visualizing method! The only minor thing I noticed was the use of the keyboard to write. That makes the process of problem-solving a bit harder to follow. Your "handwriting" on Keynote was not so bad. You could have written with that. I use a notepad. I think learners would appreciate that and see everything clearly and immediately.

You did a great job pointing out basic problem types (ie ratio comparison questions) and going over fundamental ideas within those topics. Based on the learners' understanding, you also made sure each knew how to set up the appropriate proportions using the units (g/ml) provided in the question. Again, for the last question, reiterating that the basic problem type is similar and that SAT questions can be broken down into those fundamental math ideas, I think, was helpful.
