Thank you so much for this session! It was very interactive and engaging because of the problems and the great explanations of the concept logarithms. I struggle with math and am usually uncomfortable asking questions as I feel embarrassed, however this was very helpful for me to learn more about logarithms and tutor created such a comfortable environment to make mistakes and grow from them! Lots of effort put in slides, visual explanations, and practice problems for a in depth understanding of the content taught in the session. Super patient, very interactive, engaging, and overall friendly!

Aditya and Jayden, you did a nice job in this session! I like that you started with the Heimler videos for the topics that you covered last session; it helps those who missed the last session or simply need a refresher catch up. It also looks like you provided the learners with a lot of good resources, such as Heimler's channel as well as the AMSCO book. When you go over MCQs, your explanations of the correct answer are thorough and understandable. However, you want to appeal the session to the learners; that is, have them talk about their process behind getting the correct/wrong answer before you do. You do still well in clearing up the learners' doubts; for example, at 1:00:31, you are clear and concise in your explanation of why the logic the learner tried to invoke didn't apply. Well done overall!

It can be challenging when there are two presenters but in your session, it seems you both had it planned well and explained the concepts one at a time. The slideshow you used really enhanced learner knowledge about the contents of AP Psychology. You both were very well-informed about the history of psychology, different research perspectives, and the other contents covered in this series. I felt that you were especially strong on the structuralism vs functionalism techniques used for psychological examination and felt that you both were very confident in addressing questions about different research techniques like introspection.

Really liked the way you taught the material. You pulled up a 2017 former Algebra 2 Regents exam, meaning that you took questions directly from the basis of the test itself. That's really important as the learners are looking to review for the Regents test. I could tell that you understood the problem as well. For the Sine shift problem, way to not only elaborate and explain specific parts of the problem but also expand. For example, when you were talking about the +pi/3 in the parentheses in the sine function, you explained well that this means there is a horizontal shift to the left, which is correct. However, what really set you apart was how you also reminded the learners that if the problem had a -pi/3, that would mean it would shift right. These little additional details can help bolster a learner's understanding of these concepts. Well done! I guess the one thing I would suggest is try to screen share the problems as well. It's nice to have another reference!

Your attitude and way of explaining is just great. From the beginning, you turned on your camera to the learners, signaling a pathway of trust and security. When you explained problems and concepts, you took the time to let the learners take a stab at it first, promoting active learning. When the learners were confused about a certain idea, you kindly explained to them and guided them to the correct answer. Well done! I would just say again to keep it up and try putting the problems up on the screen share. Usually you can write down problems on the screen as well!

The tutor shows respect for the learners and makes sure that the learners understand what they are working with in their material because it is a help session. Questions and answers exchanged creates a causal and greater learning environment that aids in the understanding of the material.

The tutor, for example, clearly explains the shifting of the equations of the graphs, thus showing understanding of the material. The only thing that could be improved is that the handwriting should be better written to help reduce the confusion of the learner.

Jayden, great work in explaining concepts to learners. I liked how you explained "Positive and Negative Interval" concept by white boarding with examples. The way the lesson was designed was to try solving problem after each concept is taught, which is a great way to share and check learning.

Learners were able to make progress, as evidenced by their responses on the end-of-session Kahoot. Most learners were able to correctly answer the majority of the Kahoot questions that tested learners knowledge on the content presented during this session! Also, there was consistent answering of the questions you asked during the session which reflected a growing awareness of psychological concepts. Keep up the good work!

You both maintained a comfortable learning environment from beginning to end! I like how you welcomed learners right when they joined and asked them about their days before diving into the content, because this allowed for a more relaxed and open environment that encourages active learning! Certainly! The learners definitely made progress on reviewing the Algebra 2 Regents exam. The tutor made it easy to learn concepts and let the learners control their learning pace, something that is very much appreciated.

Great job being positive and continually asking the learners if they understand the concepts being reviewed. You repeatedly asked if everyone understood the problems, even some learners who did not participate as much. I really liked how you involved the learners into the problems as well. For example, for the rabbit estimating problem, you took the time to really let the learners take control of the problem, and then let them get to the correct answer in the end by letting them respond (in this case, 56 was the closest to 80). Great stuff! Perhaps one thing you could do is ask the learners specifically what concepts they want to review after the whole session is done and give them a final problem to leave them off with. But otherwise, great work.
