This series is for you! In these sessions, we'll cover all of the nuanced SAT Math hacks you won't find in the College Board's review guides, and that high-scoring test-takers use to maximize accuracy and minimize confusion and time spent. This includes (but is not limited to): ✅ Simple tricks that will save you valuable minutes on even the most complex quadratic equations questions! ✅ The method of "solving for the expression," and how it can eliminate hassle from systems and linear equations! ✅ The value of knowing the Pythagorean triplets, and how you can use them to find the dimensions of any right triangle in seconds! By the end of this series, you'll be able to: 🌐 Apply the tips and tricks you learn to real College Board-approved SAT Math problems ⏩ Quicken your ability to tackle seemingly complex problems on the SAT without losing accuracy 💪 Build your confidence on the SAT by expanding your problem-solving toolkit! 🛑 PREREQUISITES: Please come prepared to each session with a writing utensil and scratch paper. An approved graphing calculator is recommended but not required. All score ranges welcome!

Just last year, the global population surpassed 8 billion people, making the issues of resource and land scarcity, urban clutter, environmental destruction, and others all the more pressing. The road to conquering these problems begins in cities, the centers of human civilization, as well as a complete overhaul of the urban growth model to make cities sustainable for humanity and the planet. And what better way to explore these demands than with videogames! This series will introduce the philosophy of ecodesign, an urban development and design framework focusing on optimizing civilian and environmental health through innovative approaches to urban planning, management, maintenance, and improvement. Anyone with an interest in how cities operate has a place in this series, as we will cover all of the elements that make a city sustainable, including (but not limited to): ✅ Engineering ✅ Construction management ✅ Architecture ✅ Landscaping ✅ Transportation ✅ Logistics management ✅ Government ✅ Economics ✅ Social welfare We will apply these ideas to a collaborative Minecraft Java project in which we attempt to design the ideal ecocity! The parameters for the project (population, square mileage, relevant demographics, etc.) will be given at the first session, and we will begin by dividing our group into roles designated to each of the fields we examine during the course (transportation, landscaping, etc.) to execute the demands of the project as efficiently as possible. Whether you’re looking to learn about the intricacies of urban design or just want to play some videogames, we’d love to have you! 🛑 PREREQUISITES: A Mac or Windows PC with Minecraft Java installed is strongly recommended but not required. A device with Minecraft Bedrock edition installed is also permitted. All age/familiarity levels welcome!
