History Series

Contemporary History of Spain and Europe || From a SPANISH perspective.

Starts

Hello! My name is Eterath. I am passionate about history and enjoy exploring how events of the past have shaped the world today. In this series of classes, I will help you discover and understand the contemporary history of Spain and Europe from different perspectives, mainly from the Spanish one, mine. During our sessions, we will work together on historical periods of my or your choosing and answer your questions about key events. The dynamic will be interactive and I will make sure everyone participates! If all attendees are Spanish speakers, we can hold the class in Spanish so that you feel more comfortable. Join this space to learn, debate and connect with others interested in history. Bring your doubts and curiosity, and let's work together to expand your historical knowledge! Note: I recommend having the cameras on to encourage a closer environment, but if you can't turn it on for any reason, please let me know in advance.

AP U.S. History Full Course Runthrough!

9th session

Welcome to the amazing world of history! The Americas is about to get good!✨ In this year-round series, I will go through at least 2 sessions a week, (Sundays and Saturdays, subject to change). Lecture Sessions: These sessions range from 45 minutes to an hour. I will always have a slideshow presented with notes, documents, historical thinking questions, and practice questions. From George Washington to the Watergate Scandal, we will cover whatever is planned for the week! (P.S. There will also be fun interactive games such as Kahoot!) Study Sessions: These workshops will be held on Saturdays ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. This is where learners can come in and ask any questions about Sundays lecture, homework, want practice, or just a quiet space to study! Materials needed: -I would recommend you have a notebook to take notes in or if you'd like online notes, message me at any time and I will send the slideshow! -It would be very beneficial if you had a list of presidents or a large timeline! It will help put things into a broader perspective as we rush through material! Let's dive in into the American World together! Happy Learning!

(Year Round) Crash Course into AP World History

15th session

Hi everyone! Will you be taking AP World History: Modern this year? By joining our series, you will review with us until the AP Exam in May! We will do our best to give you a strong understanding of AP World so you can succeed in the class, and pass the exam! Most of the time, we will cover each unit in 2-3 sessions as there is a lot of information to go over. After we go over a unit, we will spend the next session going over MCQs (multiple-choice questions) on the unit. As our series goes on, we will teach you how to properly write LEQs (long-essay questions), DBQs (document-based questions), and SAQs (short-answer questions), and you will also be given the opportunity to work through them! Alex and I will give you feedback on how to improve them, and teach you how to adhere to the rubric to gain as many points as possible! If you have any questions, please do not be afraid to ask! We are here to assist you with anything! Please keep in mind that the times and dates may be subject to change! We plan on adding more sessions as needed considering how this series is supposed to run from the summer to the exam!

AP History FRQ Crash Course

4th session

Taking an AP History class next year and want to review for the FRQs? You're in the right place! The DBQ, SAQ, and LEQ make up the FRQ portion for three of the AP History exams. In this series, we'll go over the rubrics, some tips, and do a bunch of practice! If you’re taking the AP World, APUSH, or AP European History exams in May, I’d highly recommend joining, as the general skills for the writing section are the same across all three exams. If you're taking AP US Government and Politics and are wondering how those FRQs work, send me a DM! I got a 5 on the exam so I'd be more than happy to host a separate series on that. If you’ve attended my last four series in the past on this topic, it’s generally the same format :)
