About

Math Counts? AoPs? AMC 8? AMC 10? Math Kangaroo? Math competitions ??? Are you in need of getting some practice problems 𐄷, some review 💡, or just some time to make your brain critically think 🧠?!!? This series is for you. Join this series full of experienced tutors 🏋️‍♀️ who have competed in international math competitions and are here to help you 🫵 .

This group will work to prepare for any math competition that is coming up. From there, we would have multiple activities including but not limited to, mock tests for competitions, try-outs for certain events, weekly or bi-weekly in-house math competitions, and we will even touch on advanced topics that only apply to math-competitions. This course will be a combination of rigorous mastery and practice.

The #academic-competitions pilot is focused on creating a dedicated subworld for academic competitions. With contributions from over 5,000 learners and 300 tutors, this initiative includes events such as MATHCOUNTS, AMC, Olympiads, Debate, Quizbowl & many more. Learners eager to participate can sign up by completing this form 📋✍️, while tutors are welcome to share their expertise by joining the #academic-competitions Slack channel 🎓💡. By upvoting our feedback and ideas page 👍🚀, you can help us unlock a new subworld 🌍🔓!

Hi! My name is Ananya, also spelled Aananya, and I'm a sophomore in high school in the 24-25 school year. I have a lot of hobbies including track and field, reading, environmental activism, debate, coding, STEM competitions, and my mysterious favorite (robotics). I love classic books (they're practically all I read). My favorite is An Old Fashioned Girl. I'm involved in a lot of organizations. One of the ones I'm most active in is a leadership 4-h program for teens. We work on a lot of capstone projects to help our community. I've gotten a world record related to them. We partnered with one of our sponsor companies to have the world's longest envirothon. That leads us into my next hobby, debate. I've been debating for 2 years as of 2024 summer, and I love it. And then there's robotics. I spend a lot of time on that. I'm very involved in my team. I love volunteering.
