About

Hello guys! My name is Jiarui but you can call me Jerry. I am a Junior from Upstate New York. My favorite subjects are math and biology. In terms of my progress for the two subjects, I finished high school biology in 8th grade and just finished AP Calculus AB and AP Biology during my Sophomore year. During my Junior year, I will be taking Calculus II and AP Chemistry to help me understand more about math and biology. I'm very excited to meet all of you! Best of luck in your future life!

What do I mainly teach: High school to AP level math/science. You can check my certifications out and direct message me if you have any questions regarding the subjects I am certified in! Ex: possible lessons, or just general questions.

The tutor was able to explain the concepts in detail, such as differentiating functions and the different derivative rules, making it very easy for the learner to grasp.

The tutor was very patient with the learner, even sharing some encouraging words about their habit of speaking out loud when going about the process, therefore letting him know if they were making a mistake.

Tutor · 4 hr. ago

The tutor continuously checked in with the learner to make sure he understood the concepts being presented. If the learner was having trouble, with say, differentiation, the tutor would slow down and walk him through step by step.
