I like how you explained the the topics we learned today. Such as, using pictures and analogies to help us remember the vocabulary words. I also found the videos you selected to be helpful and I feel like it was a good addition to the session. I would definitely register if this was a complete series. Thank you:D

I really liked how you consistently engaged the learner and made sure they were following along. You adapted to their unique questions and gave good explanations in the limited times that you had seen the question, just like the learner may on the SAT. You could have checked the learner's prior knowledge a little more to assess how much they might need help and if you should simplify the explanations.

You made the learner feel comfortable to ask you personal question like what your SAT score was and share their doubts and concerns. Additionally, you made the learner seem open to share their problems and what they may be struggling with. One thing you could have done was have a better introduction and start to the session so that the learner felt engaged and felt like you really cared about their progress and learning.

In regards to limits, your understanding of the knowledge from unit 1 is apparent and shines all throughout the session. Your ability to work through problems seamlessly demonstrates a effective level of preparation, which will definitely help in the long run. For the majority of the session, you used a document which covered the topics while also having various practice problems that the learners could use as practice to gain a deeper level of understanding.

The tutor was very patient with the learner, even sharing some encouraging words about their habit of speaking out loud when going about the process, therefore letting him know if they were making a mistake.

The tutor continuously checked in with the learner to make sure he understood the concepts being presented. If the learner was having trouble, with say, differentiation, the tutor would slow down and walk him through step by step.

Jerry was being amazingly patient with me, and helped me a lot. I respect him a lot for dedicating his time for me despite being a junior in high school. His explanations were very simple, and brief yet clear and concise. Again, I really appreciate his willingness to listen and try understand me when I was trying to explain something. You definitely seemed confident and understanding of all the material. You were comfortable with a variety of different topics and questions. I liked your explanations and reasoning throughout the session, especially when you were explaining the exponential question at 36:54. You provided a simple and effective strategy that the learner could use and remember on test day if they are ever stuck. One thing that could be improved is using slightly more visuals or representative examples for the learner to see the question mapped out. Continue to provide good explanations!

You could have given the learner some practice problems at the end to make sure they understood the content and made progress during the session.

Jiarui’s “AP Calculus AB/BC Summer First Three Units Overview” series was the best series I’ve ever taken in schoolhouse. Throughout the series, he gave me numerous practice problems. If I had any problem solving the questions, he never hesitated to explain until I got it. He also showed a lot of videos every session to explain more topics more easily. After learning each unit, he gave me unit tests with questions from the actual AP exams, and this helped me to prepare for my real AP exam. I 100% recommend taking his series! + If you are learning AP Calculus AB/BC for the first time, it might be challenging to follow the class pace. But as long as you work through all the practice problems and reach out with questions, you'll have no problem!
