Each week, we'll be going over different things or types of artwork you can make. If needed, we'll spend multiple days on the same artwork to make sure everyone can complete it and understands the work. Hi everyone! Will you be taking AP World History: Modern this year? By joining our series, you will review with us until the AP Exam in May! We will do our best to give you a strong understanding of AP World so you can succeed in the class, and pass the exam! After we go over a unit, we will spend the next session going over MCQs (multiple-choice questions) on the unit. As our series goes on, we will teach you how to properly write LEQs (long-essay questions), DBQs (document-based questions), and SAQs (short-answer questions), and you will also be given the opportunity to work through them! Alex and I will give you feedback on how to improve them, and teach you how to adhere to the rubric to gain as many points as possible! If you have any questions, please do not be afraid to ask! Welcome everyone! 😄 In this series, we will be going over famous individuals from Greek Mythology ranging from the God of the sky, Zeus, to the famous Greek hero, Perseus! Aside from talking about the prominent and no-so-prominent figures in Greek mythology, we will also be covering famous stories such as the pandora's box and the abduction of Persephone. Welcome! In this series, you will learn about Rome's beginnings and its decline. We will be following Georgia Pre-AP World History Standards throughout this series. If you feel like you're back in school, that's my goal! I teach these topics like I am in a classroom. So, be prepared to go on VR field trips, engage in group activities, do fun projects, and learn about the Roman Empire! Welcome to the SHW Writing Competition. Me and a few other tutors hosted a similar series last summer, and after seeing how much fun that was, I’ve decided to keep it going! So, this summer, we’re back with another Writing Competition, with a few tweaks and changes. If you were a part of the competition last year, welcome back! I’m excited to see the stories you all come up with! This series is pretty self-explanatory, but basically, in this competition, all participants will write a short story regarding any topic and submit it using a Google Form. Yep, that's simple. Hello Bakers! Welcome! Do you like baking? Have you ever wanted to share a recipe you invented? Do you want more people to try out your recipes? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, here's your chance. This is a Baking Contest right here at Schoolhouse, where you will get three days to come up with an original recipe (But you can get inspiration online!) bake it, give it a name, and take a picture and a video (of you explaining your desserts, and a sneak-peek of you baking it) of your dessert that you will then submit for the competition. There are no requirements to participate, just a love for baking. Six judges will look at all the submissions and decide which one is the best recipe! The rubric that judges will be using for the competition will be shared shortly after the orientation session, where more information will be given. 🤩The winners will receive King Arthur Baking Company gift cards, more info on that in the orientation session.
