In this series, we will be going into pure Electricity & Magnetism. For those of you taking Physics 2, this will go over around 2-3 chapters there. I'll be closely following the Feynman Lectures, so feel free to go through those (they're really, really good). You don't need any prior knowledge for these sessions. I want to give everyone an intuitive understanding of the greatest of the fundamental forces. Some algebra skills would be great though. All you need is your brain and a pen 😀

In this series, we will be going into how to solve and the different applications of differential equations. We'll be going through ~8 different ways to solve differential equations, ending with the Dirac Delta Function and Lagrange Equations. You don't need to know any Calculus for this series, but Pre-Calculus / Advanced Algebra 2 is needed! All you need is your mind and a pencil (to take notes)! We will cover the entirety of the AP Chemistry curriculum, covering Atomic, Molecular, Ionis Compounds Structures + Properties, IMFs, Reactions, Equilibrium, Acids and Bases, Thermodynamics, and Electrochemistry. I'll try to include quizzes for each topic and we'll go over practice MC and FRQs from the actual AP test! Starting from the beginning of Physics, we'll go through all of the topics covered on the first step of the Physics Olympiad, or the F=MA. Topics covered include kinematics, statics, Newton's laws, momentum and energy, oscillations, orbital mechanics, fluids, and elementary dimensions. I'll be going through official F=MA exams after each topic we learn, so there should be tons of potential for active learning!

We're going to go over the main concepts in AP Physics 2 to prepare anyone taking the class next year. We'll start with Fluids and work our way through Thermodynamics, Electricity + Magnetism, and Optics, and end with Modern Physics / Relativity. I'll provide plenty of opportunities to answer questions and also provide you guys with tons of resources to make sure you're ready for the class next year. Before taking this series, I would review basic kinematics and forces from AP Physics 1. It isn't required, but it helps make a clearer understanding of what goes on in Physics 2. Khan Academy teaches this really well, so I would start there. This isn't required, but it is recommended. I will assign homework at the end of each session, but the homework isn't required and should be used supplementarily.
