I'm a high school senior with a passion for adventure, teaching, and learning. I keep active with fencing, tennis, jogging, and hiking and expand my creativity by listening to music, writing stories, and creating digital art. I love exploring fantastical worlds through books and watching crime/legal/paranormal TV series. Word of the Day for 365 Days!

New learners are always welcome!! In this series, there is one session every other single day for a whole year! How it works: We go over the pronunciation, definition, synonyms and antonyms, origin, (and maybe some fun facts), and how to use the word in a sentence. There is always a super fun Kahoot about the word. Then we have idiom of the day where we introduce a new idiom, its meaning, and how it's used in a sentence. Then, at the end, we have two quotes of the day! They may be inspirational, or funny, or both! I hope to see you there! These sessions are perfect for expanding your vocabulary. Changes from the original series: - Sessions will be hosted every other day. - Learners who misbehave in any way that slightly defers the Schoolhouse policy will be removed. - Our original host will not be involved in this series.

Strengths: - I liked the content she covered- an essay that worked for the IVY Leagues so students could have an understanding of what kind of personal statements elite colleges are looking for + explaining the personal statement, so students were ensured in what the essay is all about, and all the other content material was great as it was chosen very well and really enhanced students' understanding of the material. - I liked the "hook" of starting off with the Ivy League essay example
