I feel like it would be a crime if I didn't rate my experience with Sophie. Wow! She's so detailed, understands your questions, and gives responses that are true and meaningful to the question asked. She's very informed with much of the college admissions process and was able to give me a good idea of extracurriculars, their importance, and answered many other questions in the process. I brought 30 questions, she answered all of them, until the end, in a professional and patient manner. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Sophie :)

Hi Sophie, Great job on your session on the personal statement for the College Essay. You were very well prepared, quite sincere, and put great effort into guiding the learners. Your presentation had great contents. You had several examples and explained in detail what is good about that essay and what can be improved. I liked your idea that mentioning personal actions is more important than mentioning contacts. In the future, I would suggest make the session interactive, let the learners take turns to read out the essays, let them identify what worked on the essay and what didn't, then you can add your inputs.

Hi Sophia my name is Sarah. Today I'll be looking over your session on time management in College Spirit. The first thing that I wanted to say is the way you covered the material was really nice, it was in a smooth and concise way, it really got the learner or learners to really concentrate and really get the material down as sometimes topics such as time management can be really difficult to understand. As in this time and age there are so many ways out there on how to manage your time and the way that you explained it was really nice the way you explained using four squares was really interesting and gave a new perspective. I thought that it was really interesting even from a peer reviewer point of view. Onthat note how you communicated with the learners/ learner also is proof that you truly understand what you're teaching in the sense of your tone and how you explained everything thoroughly.

Strengths: - I liked the content she covered- an essay that worked for the IVY Leagues so students could have an understanding of what kind of personal statements elite colleges are looking for + explaining the personal statement, so students were ensured in what the essay is all about, and all the other content material was great as it was chosen very well and really enhanced students' understanding of the material. - I liked the "hook" of starting off with the Ivy League essay example

I really enjoyed this task management workshop and I am grateful to the tutor, Sophie, for making it a wonderful experience. It was such an enlightening session and the tutor taught me a lot about productivity and efficient time/task management with the Eisenhower matrix, Time blocking, 5-minute rule, and the Pomodoro Technique. Throughout the session, Sophie was friendly, interactive, fun, and patient with incredible explanations. I hope to join one of her future sessions for another educational and enriching experience!

The whole session was ran was so impressive because everything went so smoothly and the fact that you waited for someone else to join after your first learner left was enough shows you are so dedicated to these types of sessions because sometimes when learners leave for my sessions I usually hesitate staying on but you just gave me more inspiration to stay on longer sessions because sometimes people might be running late. Thank you for because you now gave me the motivation to not be anxious about my sessions and whether or not people will join.

This session being in College Sprit I definitely felt asking your learners what they knew about task management is really important because based on that you could have changed what you were going to talk about as some learners know more and while other learners have no idea. you continuously engage the learners in the sense of you asking them if they have questions and you also showing them at what point you are in that session which is important because sometimes learners might choose to tune in more compared to other parts. You also gave time to the learners by waiting for them to give you an answer. When they didn't give you an answer you went in and asked them “hey do you need a little bit more time?" In which they responded that there was something wrong with their battery. Which I thought was really thoughtful in the sense that you wanted everything to be on the same page.
