Each week, we'll be going over different things or types of artwork you can make. If needed, we'll spend multiple days on the same artwork to make sure everyone can complete it and understands the work. This is a beginner's guide to art, however, those advanced are also welcome to join us! Throughout the series, learners are encouraged to: - Ask questions and seek guidance - Share their work and progress - Provide feedback to others - Engage in discussions and activities By following this series, learners will gain a solid foundation in art, confidence in their abilities, and a passion for creative expression. Here are the recommended (not 100% required) materials for this series: - Pencil(s) - Eraser - Paper Towels/Tissues - Pen(s) - Watercolor Paint - Acrylic Paint - Q-Tips - Markers - Paper - Sharpie or Black Marker - Colored Pencils - Crayons - Oil Pastels We're very excited to work with you all, and hope to see you soon! We will have one class Each week for 30 mins 1. Introduce Words: Present 5-10 new vocabulary words and their definitions. 2. Discuss Definitions: Explain each word with examples. 3. Create Sentences: Students write sentences using the new words. 4. Share and Review: Students share their sentences; discuss and provide feedback. 5. During each week's session, we will engage in the following activities:  - Discuss the characters' actions 🗣️ - Share our thoughts on what we would have done if we were a person in the book 💬 - Partake in a lively debate on which ship is better! ⛵ - Predict what might happen next in the story 🗣️ - And more! 📚📖📝 We look forward to seeing you in our next session! We can always have a couple more people!  Note: If you are joining after the session already started, make sure that you read the number of pages required during your own time!
